The Marines of 1st Platoon, Company K, 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment (Reinforced), the ground combat element of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Afghanistan, patrolled the marketplace of Delaram with the Afghan national police in search of illegal activity and contraband. SPMAGTF-A and International Security Assistance Force support the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in its efforts to provide security and services to the Afghan people.
