Bullard is a Department of Defense civilian serving as a law enforcement professional with 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment (Reinforced), the ground combat element of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Afghanistan. Bullard and the Marines of 1st Platoon, Company K, 3/8 (Reinforced), patrolled with the ANP in search of illegal activity and contraband. Close cooperation between Afghan security forces and International Security Assistance Force is essential in achieving the operational objectives of both parties.
