Instructors from the 362nd Training Squadron, Crash Damaged Disabled Aircraft Recovery (CDDAR) team used 26-ton airbag modules and associated equipment to completely lift a KC-130 Stratotanker July 29, 2014. Students work as a team to lift the aircraft off the ground a minimum of 8 inches, which can be applied to any aircraft that has skidded off the runway or is stuck in the mud, snow or any other terrain.
