New York Naval Militia Lt. j.g. Anthony Washington gets mission directives over the Division of Military and Naval Affairs Disaster Local Area Network (DLAN) system during an exercise on the Hudson River here on July 25 as Cmdr. Don McKnight looks on. The exercise allowed the Naval Militia to test the communications systems in their mobile command post as well as patrol boat handling procedures.
