FreChelle Wilson’s mixed media piece “Vessel for PTSD” on display at the “Reflections of Generosity” exhibit being held at the Trading Post on Fort Bliss, Texas, April 1, 2014. Wilson created the vessel as a tribute to her father and all those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. The concept of the piece is similar to memory jars of the South which are covered with tokens of memories and are broken upon the grave to ensure the spirit remembers to leave the body.
