Retired Army Sgt. 1st Class Howie Sanborn of Raleigh, N.C., performs upper body strengthening exercises during a wounded warrior conditioning camp hosted by U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Care Coalition. The camp was conducted to help prepare wounded special operation athletes for their participation in the upcoming Warrior Games. More than 250 athletes from all the military branches and USSOCOM will participate in the 2014 Warrior Games to be held from Sept. 28 to Oct. 4 at the Olympic Training Center (OTC), at Fort Carson, Colo. and at Wasson High School, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
