A Coast Guard rescue boat crew medevaced a 55-year-old fisherman suffering from a diabetic symptoms, 8 miles offshore of Port Aransas July 28, 2014. The 45-foot response boat crew from Coast Guard Station Port Aransas retrieved the fisherman and brought him to waiting emergency medical service for transportation to Aransas Pass Medical Center.
