Marine Corps AH-1Z Cobra pilots talk to members of the public at a static demonstration, July 28 at the University of Washington as part of Marine Week. The pilots flew onto the practice ground at the University and stayed for approximately three hours showcasing Marine Corps aviation. Marine Week showcases Marine Corps equipment, aircraft and technological capabilities to the general public. More than 700 Marines are participating in Marine Week Seattle to give Seattleites the opportunity to meet the individual Marine and celebrate community, country and Corps.
