Service members from Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Korea, Norway, Singapore and the U.S assigned to the Multinational Logistics Support Element pose for a group photo during Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) Exercise 2014. The Multinational Logistics Support Element provides tactical level support to the various entities of Commander, Combined Task Force, achieving the "last tactical mile" of cargo reception and dispatch, whereby high priority cargo for coalition forces (maritime, ground & air) as well as U.S. Surface Combatants are consolidated prior to dispatch to the end user via replenishment at sea ship, helo drop or delivery via ground transport. Twenty-two nations, 49 ships, six submarines, more than 200 aircraft and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC from June 26 to Aug. 1 in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California.
