The U.S. Army Priority Air Transport – Europe Flight Detachment’s Gulfstream III jet “Lexington” sits on the tarmac here July 23, prior to its final flight before being decommissioned. The jet was the only Gulfstream III aircraft in the Army’s inventory and was dedicated to the transport of senior leaders in Iraq, Afghanistan and throughout Europe.
