HSI McAllen special agents and U.S. CBP assist local law enforcement in the apprehension of an alien smuggler during a traffic stop. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Jeh Johnson today announced the results of an ongoing operation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) to target human smuggling operations in the Texas Rio Grande Valley.
