U.S. Marines with 3rd Marine Regiment practice calling in simulated emergency close air support 5-lines. The Marines were coordinating with AH-1W super cobras assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 367 "Scarface," in support of the ground combat portion of Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) Exercise 2014. RIMPAC, the largest maritime exercise in the Pacific region, encourages military to military bonds to create stronger lines of communication and interoperability among participating forces.
