U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class William Goodrode, platoon sergeant, Task Force Wolf, fires a M4-A1 carbine during weapons training conducted using the Engagement Skills Trainer 2000 during Cadet Summer Training (CST) on Fort Knox, Ky., July 8. The EST 2000 is a visual weapons simulator computer system designed to enable service members to carry out cost-effective marksmanship training and other weapon exercises in numerous environments without ammunition restrictions.
