Members partner nations prepare to compete in tug-of-war during a squad competition aboard Las Calderas Naval Base, Dominican Republic, June 24, 2014. The squad competition was part of exercise Tradewinds 2014 where the U.S. and 13 partner nations were divided up into 12 teams tparticipate. Tradewinds 2014 is a joint, combined exercise conducted in order to improve partner nation counter-transnational organized crime missions and humanitarian aid and disaster response operations capacity and was held from June 16 through June 25.
