Noonan, sergeant major, 2nd MSOSB, case the unit colors before uncasing the new unit colors during the re-designation ceremony where Marine Special Operations Logistics Battalion was re-designated as 2nd MSOSB aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., May 16, 2014. The mission of 2nd MSOSB is to provide logistics and Combat Service Support (CSS), and to train, equip, organize and provide CSS capabilities to 2d Marine Special Operations Battalion when deploying in the execution of special operations.
