III Corps Adopt-A-School program

U.S. Army Pvt. 1st Class James Lapan, from Montclair, Virginia, Spc. Shelby Neuhaus, from Vallejo, Calif., and 6th grader Caulin Larson show off a bottle boat they built together during the III Corps Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion's field day with Eastern Hills Middle School, May 30, 2014. Soldiers with the HHBN spent a day at the Parrie Haynes Ranch south of Killeen with more than 300 kids from EHMS, their adopted school. The III Corps and Fort Hood Adopt-A-School program contributes military resources and services to schools in order to nurture the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth of children in the greater Fort Hood area, and focuses on providing Soldier resources to teach, coach, mentor, and inspire students.
