Latasia T. Gross, an Air Force airman assigned to Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, completed U.S. Air Force Honor Guard Technical Training School as part of Class 2014-C on June 6, 2014, signifying a major milestone in her military career. Gross enlisted in the Air Force Dec. 13, 2013, and attended basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. While at basic training Gross excelled resulting in her acceptance into the elite U.S. Air Force Honor Guard based at JBAB. Gross graduated from Fred T. Foard High School in Newton, N.C., in 2013. Gross’ parents, Michael and Sherita, reside in Newton, N.C., along with her brothers, Michael and David.
