Royal Canadian Leading Seaman Josh Oldman, assigned to the Navy Fleet Diving Unit Atlantic, safety checks Belize Coast Guard Service Ensign Charles Francisco before a dive to inspect the hull of U.S. Army Vessel New Orleans (LCU 2031) at Camp Blizzard June 3. The Canadians taught maritime dive training to law enforcement, military and Coast Guard members from 11 Caribbean nations participating in Tradewinds 2014. Tradewinds is a joint, combined exercise conducted in conjunction with partner nations to enhance the collective abilities of defense forces and constabularies to counter transnational organized crime and to conduct humanitarian/disaster relief operations.
