U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Mike Seery, a phase crew chief from the 13th Aircraft Maintenance Unit at Misawa Air Base, Japan, performs routine phase maintenance on an F-16 Fighting Falcon during Exercise Eager Lion May 25, 2014, at an air base in northern Jordan. Every 400 flight hours, F-16s go through phase maintenance to fix and prevent any problems. This year, more than 12,500 personnel from more than 20 nations are participating in the exercise, which is designed to strengthen military-to-military relationships and interoperability.
