Lt. Col. Sean Kuester, commander, 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment “Desert Rogues”, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, awards Sgt. Thomas Evans, a native of Trenton, N.J., and an infantryman with Company B, 1-64th AR, the Bronze Star Medal with ‘V’ device for Valor here at the Rogues’ motor pool, May 16. Evans was awarded the BSM with ‘V’ device for his heroic actions in combat during their last deployment to Afghanistan with the Rogues, which took place from March to December of 2012.
