Marines with Echo Battery, 2nd Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division prepare to load and fire an M-777 lightweight 155mm howitzer for a Top Gun competition held at Fort Bragg, N.C., May 6, 2014. Being the main event of the field operation Rolling Thunder, each battery is graded on emplacement and knowledge of the weapons system, communications and organization of the convoy out of the firing position, in order to claim the title of Top Gun.
