Philippine, U.S. forces provide additional aid to Tacloban after Yolanda disaster

Members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. armed forces board a KC-130J Super Hercules flying to Tacloban, Philippines May 10. Members of the AFP and U.S. armed forces traveled to Tacloban for a cooperative health engagement as a part of Exercise Balikatan, an annual bilateral exercise with Philippine and U.S. forces intended to strengthen friendships and interoperability between the two allied nations. The CHE provided additional medical relief and assistance to an area devastated by Typhoon Yolanda on November 8, 2013. More than 390 community members received medical treatment and health classes during the engagement.
