The ceremony signified the 143rd ESC's nine-month mission of conducting sustainment operations throughout Southwest Asia in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The 143rd ESC stands as the last ESC to deploy to Kuwait as it relinquished command to the 1st Sustainment Command (Theater).
