Coast Guard groundbreaking ceremony recogizes new support facility [Image 1 of 3]
Kahu Bill Kaina conducts a traditional Hawaiian blessing during a groundbreaking at construction of a new building at Sand Island to support the Fast Response Cutters, Wednesday. The building will provide maintenance and logistics support for the cutters, which are scheduled to replace the aging fleet of 110-foot patrol boats currently serving the Hawaiian Islands.
