Renales, discuss planned humanitarian civic assistance projects April 21 during a press conference in Legazpi City, Albay Province, Philippines. The HCA projects were planned as a part of Exercise Balikatan, an annual bilateral exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and United States armed forces that strengthens the bond and improves interoperability between the two countries. Salceda is the governor of Albay. Renales is the commanding officer of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Joint Civil Military Operations Task Force, and Lee is the commanding officer of the U.S. forces, JCMOTF.
