2nd Lt. Cody Johnson, from Kuna, Idaho, visits with the police chief of Al Dujaya, an Iraqi town south of Al Kut. On Aug. 19, 2004, Johnson spoke to the police chief about Al Sadrs militia, which was suspected of operating in the region. Johnson, a platoon leader for Company C, 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team) searched for Al Sadrs men in support of Task Force Tomahawk to regain control of the Al Kut area and neutralize Al Sadr?s militia.
