Shreveport, La., native Sgt. Michael A. Huff salutes the American flag, demonstrating the remarkable attention to detail that an Honor Guard must exhibit during a military funeral. The patch on his left shoulder reads "ARNG HONOR GUARD." The gold letters signify that he is a certified Honor Guard Trainer. Huff was the first National Guard Soldier in the state to complete the Honor Guard Train the Trainer Course at Camp Robinson, Ark.
