Amelia Fort, 5, plays in a pond outside of McGinnis-Wickam Hall, April 2, at Fort Benning, Ga. Amelia, 5, was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in 2012. Her father, Capt. Seth Fort, spearheaded the efforts to turn McGinnis-Wickam Hall blue for Autism Awareness Month. Fort, the commander of Battery B, 1st Battalion, 10th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, said this is the first time something like this has been done on Fort Benning and he hopes to see it continue each year.
