USACE Galveston District staff joined the Safe Kids Greater Houston Water safety team during the2013 3rd Annual Katy Aquatics Make-A-Splash event to operate a life jacket station, provide mandatory personal floatation devices to those kayaking, as well as provide information to both children and adults on legal requirements and discuss the importance of buying, using and properly fitting a life jacket.
