U.S. Army paratroopers, assigned to 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), jump into Bunker Drop Zone in Grafenwoehr during a combined-arms live-fire exercise with 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, March 28, 2014. The combined-arms live-fire exercise was conducted at the 7th Army Joint Multinational Training Command’s Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels training areas in order to prepare the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade to deploy to Afghanistan to provide medical evacuation and combat support to the NATO International Security Assistance Force mission.
