Republic of Korea and U.S. Marines toast to the completion of the command post exercise portion of Marine Expeditionary Force Exercise 2014 at the 1st ROK Marine Corps Division Base in Pohang, Republic of Korea March 22. The U.S. Marine Corps is committed to the ROK and U.S. Alliance and forces regularly exercise to build combined capability, ensure interoperability and maintain strong working relationships. The U.S. Marines participated various units under III MEF and are in the ROK in support of MEFEX 14 which is an umbrella exercise, overseeing the series of ROK and U.S. bilateral and multilateral activities and engagements on the Korean Peninsula.
