Family members of fallen soldiers from Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom release letters attached to balloons to their fallen loved ones on Feb. 23. Survivor Outreach Services, an Army program, hosted Operation Love Letters to bring together family members of fallen soldiers from recent wars. During the event, family members took a moment to introduce their fallen soldier to one other, write a special letter to their fallen hero, and later attach the letter to a balloon to be released into the sky.
