Marines with Headquarters Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, pull weeds out of the flower beds at the Davis Community, Feb. 14, 2014. Forty Marines and sailors volunteered to give their time and energy to a generation that came before them. The service members were at the center to help the grounds workers to clear tree branches and debris from the winter-weather storm that struck earlier that week. Along with the clearing of the tree branches and debris there was an opportunity to talk to veterans that lived in the Champions Assisted Living building inside the Davis Community.
