Petty Officer 3rd Class Brooke Lopshire was the planner for a volunteer event in which Marines and sailors cleared debris from a winter-weather storm that struck earlier in the week at the Davis Community, Feb. 14, 2014. The service members were at the center to help the grounds workers to clear tree branches and debris from the winter-weather storm that struck earlier that week. Along with the clearing of the tree branches and debris there was an opportunity to talk to veterans that lived in the Champions Assisted Living building inside the Davis Community.
