U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Jacob Pedraza demonstrates the weapon safety conditions for belt-fed weapons to Royal Thai Marines Feb. 11 at Ban Chan Krem, Kingdom of Thailand during Exercise Cobra Gold 2014. The U.S. Marines are working with the Royal Thai Marines to become familiar with each other in preparation for the Combined Arms Live Fire Exercise, the culminating event of the field training exercise portion of Cobra Gold 2014. Pedraza is a machine-gunner with Company L, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, currently assigned to 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force under the unit deployment program.
