Spc. Ryan King, a Montgomery, Ala., native, shakes hands with Gen. Raymond Odierno, the new commanding general of Multi-National Force – Iraq, who presented a challenge coin to King, Sept. 18, 2008, at Joint Security Station Sadr City in northeastern Baghdad. King serves as a member of the personal security detachment for Task Force 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, which is currently attached to 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad.
