U.S. Army Spc. Dustin Ledford adjusts his M4 rifle’s aim and sight by repeatedly firing during the marksmanship challenge of 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division’s noncommissioned officer and soldier of the quarter competition Jan. 23, 2014, at Forward Operating Base Fenty. Participants also competed in a Army Physical Fitness Test, soldier common tasks’ event lanes, and a question and answer board to determine which soldier and NCO would earn the right to call themselves the best for the 1st Quarter of 2014. Ledford hails from Clemson, S.C., and serves with 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, as an infantryman. Winning here will secure a spot to compete for the title of Brigade Soldier of the Year after 4th BCT, 10th Mtn. Div. returns to Fort Polk, La. (U.S. Army Photo by Spc.
