Governor of North Carolina Pat McCrory confers with Army Maj. Gen. Greg Lusk, adjutant general of North Carolina, and Mike Sprayberry, director of the North Carolina Division of Emergency Management, after a press conference held at the North Carolina Emergency Operations Center at the North Carolina National Guard’s Joint Force Headquarters here, Jan. 28. The three men were part of a team consisting of the NCNG, N.C. Emergency Management, State Highway Patrol and local and state first responders to provide critical assistance to the citizens of the state during the winter storm. “Our goal is to be over prepared,” said McCrory.
