Petty Officer 2nd Class Christopher Baskett, combat instructor with Field Medical Battalion, from Jefferson City, Mo., and Sgt. Daniel Pereira, combat instructor with FMTB, from Houston, Texas, conduct operational testing of the Tempus Pro, a tactical telemedicine device, over two days of trials aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jan. 22-23. The Tempus Pro attaches to the patient and broadcasts their vital signs back to a battalion aid station or aiding physician so that they can instruct and help the corpsman.
