Army Spc. Justin Necessary from Clifton, Texas, and a forward observer (13F) from 2nd Battalion 2nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade 1st Infantry Division Combined Task Force "DUKE" received an Army Commendation Medal for his actions to assist in the security operations of a downed aircraft site in Zabul, Afghanistan on December of 2013. The Texas native is seen here on Forward Operation Base Apache where he is currently deployed.
