Army Sgt. Robert Ford, assigned as a guardian angel with Troop B, 3rd Squadron, 71st Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Infantry Division, provides security during a recent visit to one of the newest hospitals in Afghanistan on Forward Operating Base Thunder. Troop B, 3rd Squadron, 71st Cavalry Regiment is currently assigned to the 3rd Brigade Special Troops Battalion which provides guardian angels for the Security Force Advise Assist Teams deployed as part of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team's advise and assist mission.
