Marines escort a simulated enemy scientist at Combat Town on Camp Hansen Dec. 5 during Exercise Chromite. As part of the exercise the Marines assaulted and secured the combat town and searched for simulated chemical weapons. The “scientists” were played by Marines with the 3rd Intelligence Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF, and the Marines securing combat town were with Company F, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, currently assigned to 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, under the unit deployment program.
