North Carolina National Guard AH-64D Longbow Apache attack helicopters enter the air space over Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia as part of introductions for the U.S. Military Academy’s Black Knight football team during the 114th annual Army vs. Navy football game as cadets look on at field level, Dec. 14. The aircraft, which belonged to the NCNG’s 1-130th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 449th Theater Aviation Brigade, were selected to perform this year’s flyover. The Army aviators and crews were also recognized by name on the field during the second half for their outstanding skills as pilots and for representing the North Carolina National Guard.
