Ultimate Fighting Championship Mixed Martial Arts fighter Tim Kennedy speaks to the audience at Sports USA during the 2013 Fort Bragg Army Combatives Championship Invitational finals, Dec. 14. Kennedy complemented the contestants for fighting at an advanced level during the competition. A Green Beret from 2003 -2009, Kennedy, who still serves as a soldier in the Texas National Guard, has experienced the advantages of combatives training first-hand during his time of service.
