A Marine serving with 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, uses a Tracker, Rubber-tired, Articulated, Steering, Multi-purpose (TRAM) forklift to tear down a wooden building during the retrograde of Marines and equipment from Forward Operating Base Shir Ghazy, Nov. 17. The base was established to provide security for Route Red. Route Red has been the primary transportation route for coalition forces and Afghan National Security Forces supporting FOBs throughout Helmand province. The FOB overlooks the re-supply route and maintains security in the immediate area.
