    CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - In this photo by the U.S. Coast Guard a member from the Navy's Marine Mammal Program rewards a dolphin following a demonstration in the Port of Corpus Christi, Friday, May 15, 2009.

    The Navy's Marine Mammal Program was utilized during the Corpus Christi Inner Harbor Safe Harbor Experiment for object detection, location and marking recovery. The experiment was a joint effort between Coast Guard Sector Corpus Christi, the Naval and Anti-Submarine Warfare Command and the Port of Corpus Christi Authority.

    The experiment began on Monday, May 11, 2009, and concluded Friday, May 15, 2009, with a reception and media day.
