CARIBBEAN SEA (Oct. 2, 2004) Petty Officer 1st Class Michael Howell offloads an over 50 pound bale of cocaine off the cutter Gallatin's small boat. In all, the cutter Gallatin seized an estimate 4,000 pounds of cocaine after an armed Coast Guard helicopter spotted a suspected high-speed drug smuggling boat in a known drug transit zone.
