Local contractors mix cement at the Qalat boy's middle and high school campus for the construction of a soccer stadium as students look on. This summer members of the Zabul Provincial Reconstruction Team facilitated the installation of a well, electrical upgrade and provided a month of food subsidies for students. Other construction on the grounds includes adding a sewage system to the year and half-old school complex.
