Chief Warrant Officer 4 James "Jimbo" Snyder (back seat), an AH-64D Apache attack helicopter pilot for 1st "Attack" Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, taxis his aircraft back to his parking spot while Chief Warrant Officer 2 Robert Seybold, the production control officer for 1st Attack, smiles like he just won the lottery. And he basically did. He and a select few other Soldiers were given the rare opportunity to ride in the front seat of an Apache – a place exclusively reserved for attack pilots. The troopers took 30-minute flights, taking off from Robert Gray Army Air Field, Fort Hood, Texas, Aug. 26, 2008.
