ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Alaska Governor Sean Parnell, with the support of state and federal boating safety experts, signs House Bill 301 into law, amending the termination date of certain state statutes and regulations governing boating safety in Alaska May 22, 2012. The boating safety laws were scheduled to cease in 2013, however, with the singing of the bill, the state provides permanence to the law and to safe boating for Alaskans on all of Alaska'??s waterways.
